Alexander Boyarsky
The celebrated Boyarsky is one of the most prestigious cello professors in the world today, a leading cello educator and performer with an illustrious record in pedagogy. A tenured professor at the Royal College of Music and a professor at the Purcell School of Music, he has mentored numerous distinguished cellists and musicians. He has been a treasured professor at summer courses and masterclasses of Enhui Music.
Itzhak Rashkovsky
Itzhak Rashkovsky is amongst the most famous violin professors in the UK, and comfortably worldwide. The Rashkovsky music family is indeed very celebrated; hence it comes to no surprise that earning a spot to study under Itzhak is particularly competitive. In lesson, the maestro is renowned for his ability to charmingly illuminate young talents with priceless wisdom. Having mentored countless young British violinists including the young Leya Zhu, Itzhak Rashkovsky, alongside his wife, are massively sought-after professors of violin at the Royal College of Music. Enhui Music is proud to have fostered a warm relationship with the Rashkovsky family, having had Itzhak host violin masterclasses for their young musicians.
Ashley Wass
As one of Britain’s most celebrated pianists, Ashley Wass is currently the acting Director of Music at the Yehudi Menuhin School, a top, globally renowned international specialist music school in the UK. He has formerly served as the Deputy Director of Keyboard at the Royal Northern College of Music and is the masterclass piano professor at Enhui Music.
Caroline Emery
Caroline Emery is a world-renowned double bass professor at the Royal College of Music, the RCM Junior Department, the Yehudi Menuhin School, and Eton College. Caroline is known for her rigorous yet nurturing style of teaching, often providing great holistic care for her pupils. She is frequently invited to present lectures and give masterclasses worldwide, including at the Hague and Rice University in Houston, US. Her students often sweep international competitions and constitute members of world-class symphony orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
Shiry Rashkovsky
Distinguished viola player and chamber musician. She is also a viola teacher at Royal Holloway University of London.
Geoffrey Govier
Renowned senior piano and fortepiano professor at the Royal College of Music. He is known for his ability to inspire and captivate students with his vast musical knowledge, which he so naturally incorporates in his teaching, while not losing out on a touch of humour. He serves as the Piano Examiner for the Royal College of Music Undergraduate Admissions Panel, and acts as a senior piano masterclass professor at Enhui Music.
Konstantin Lapshin
A decorated piano virtuoso, Konstantin Lapshin frequents global competition success throughout his career and is growing as an active concert pianist. He is a piano professor at the Royal College of Music’s Junior Department and an examiner for the Undergraduate Admissions Panel at the Royal College of Music. Konstantin is also a professor for piano at Enhui Music.

Bartholomew LaFolette
A world-class cellist and musician from the US and located in the UK, Bartholomew LaFolette, at 26, was the youngest cello professor at the Yehudi Menuhin School. A multi-award winner and recording artist, his debut CD of Brahms’s Sonatas for Cello and Four Serious Songs, with pianist Caroline Palmer, was released to great critical acclaim on the Champs Hill label. Also a chamber musician in great demand, he has frequently worked with the award-winning Doric String Quartet with whom he recorded Korngold’s String Sextet for the Chandos label. A dedicated educator, he has travelled across the world to teach, coach and present cello masterclasses on various courses and festivals including Jennifer Stumm’s ‘Ilumina’ in Brazil. He is currently a regular cello professor at Enhui Music.
Simon Callaghan
Simon Callaghan performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician, in parallel with a highly successful career as a recording artist. At the renowned Husum Festival of Piano Rarities in Germany, Callaghan’s recent sell-out concert was praised by VAN Magazine as a “cleverly curated recital full of discoveries”. Simon Callaghan has developed a wide following and appears on a regular basis in the UK’s major concert halls, and on tours to Asia, North America and Europe. He is a piano professor of the Enhui Music Summer Course
Cyrill Ibrahim
Named by the Daily Telegraph as one of the most exciting up-and-coming concert pianists of his generation, Cyril Ibrahim has performed in major venues such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Philharmonie in Berlin. His sparkling virtuosity is well paired with an impeccable style and charisma, having been featured on the cover of Gentleman’s Journal as ‘the future of British music’. Cyrill is truly passionate about bringing classical music to a wider audience and helping the next generation getting engaged with classical music, serving as a regular piano professor of Enhui Music Summer Course, and formerly as a regular piano professor at Enhui Music.
Georgios Zacharias
A celebrated and massively talented violinist and general musician, Georgios Zacharias holds a doctorate in music and formerly served as a professor of music theory and violin at the Royal Academy of Music. He is a music professor at Enhui Music Summer Course.
Ilana Mordkovitch-Roos
A well-respected British pianist and senior piano professor with 30 years of experience, Ilana mentors piano at renowned music academies worldwide, such as Singapore, Boston, and the UK. A recording artist, her album recording of Grieg Sonatas for Violin and Piano for Chandos records was awarded a top rating from BBC and Penguin CD guides. She is currently a regular piano professor at Enhui Music.
William Dutton
The intensely musical William Dutton broke onto the music scene as a young singer and violinist, winning the BBC Young Musician String Category in 2014. Currently established in conducting, William is the conductor of the Bridge Ensemble in Leeds. William Dutton formerly served as violin professor, chamber music mentor and conductor at Enhui Music.
SiQian Li
A protégé of the celebrated Chinese piano pedagogue Bao Huiqiao, Siqian Li is one of the most active young concert pianists in the UK. Her incredible virtuosity is rightly reflected in her competition success, a semi-finalist of the Leeds International Piano Competition in 2018 and among the highly selective competitors in top competitions such as the Queen Elizabeth International Music Competition, Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, and the Rubinstein International Piano Masters Competition. Siqian Li currently is a regular piano professor at Enhui Music.
Svitlana Kosenko
A greatly perceptive and touching pianist, Svitlana Kosenko took first prize in the Smetana International Competition in 2001, while winning Best Pianist at the Joseph Suder Lieder Competition in 2012. Since 2014, Svitlana has been a much beloved Accompanist in Residence at the Yehudi Menuhin School, and currently accompanies professionally at the Royal College of Music. Svitlana is a much-respected regular piano professor at Enhui Music.
Itamar Rashkovsky
As a wonderful violinist and educator, his lessons are known to be charmingly captivating, and deeply loved by his students. He currently teaches at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and is a beloved former violin professor at Enhui Music.
Laure Chan
A bustling, up-and-coming young violinist, Laure Chan has performed in world-class concert venues worldwide including the Royal Albert Hall, Philharmonie de Paris, Wiener Konzerthaus, Concertgebouw, Elbphilharmonie, and the Lincoln Center. She is hailed as a rising star by BBC Music Magazine and on Classic FM’s 30 under 30 list in 2024. Laure Chan once served as a violin professor at Enhui Music.
Tanja Roos
An excellent violinist and psychologist who has won numerous international awards, including her success as the youngest prizewinner at the Tunbridge Wells International Young Concert Artists competition. Currently following the path of a clinical psychologist, Tanja is a flaming, eager advocator for mental health awareness in musicians, a beautiful quality that is massively needed in the music community and is well expressed in her recent interview with the Strad magazine. She was once a violin teacher at Enhui Music and was deeply loved by her students.
Irina Walters
A choral conductor, musician, composer, sight-singing ear training and theory expert, Irina Walters is a senior choral professor at Purcell Music School and the former music director of the British National Children’s Choir.
Freddie Meyers
Freddie Meyers is an attention-grabbing up-and-coming composer whose musical language explores the ever-shifting notion of time in musical creation. Freddie is the musical director of Bandwidth, an internet-based ensemble dedicated to exploring the implications of latency on performance practice. His philosophy of connecting people around the world with music well resonates with the goal of us at CMC Summer Course 2024. In addition, Freddie is a trumpet player, conductor and a professor of composition theory and aural training. He was the former professor of music at Eton College and currently a music professor at the Yehudi Menuhin School and Enhui Music.
